The property industry’s annual singing competition, Crypt Factor, has been postponed and will now take place on Thursday 23rd June 2022.
The event was scheduled for Thursday 24th June 2021. However, The Centenary Pavilion at Elland Road, which has become the Crypt Factor’s home, is currently being used as one of West Yorkshire’s largest Covid-19 NHS vaccination centres, and uncertainty remains about when large indoor events will be able to resume.
Candid PR has handled PR for The Crypt Factor for the past nine years. The event typically sees a 900-strong audience from the North of England’s property and construction industries descend on Elland Road to raise vast sums of money for local charities St George’s Crypt and The Leeds Fund, which is managed by Leeds Community Foundation. The event has raised more than £700,000 for charity since 2006.
The show’s organising committee and main sponsors comprise of Gent Visick, Pinsent Masons and Town Centre Securities PLC. TheBusinessDesk.com is Crypt Factor’s official media partner and the event’s stage set-up, lighting and sound is provided by Sparq, which is a division of Saville Group. Additional support is also provided by Anderson Advertising & Property Marketing.
Crypt Factor committee member, Garry Howes, said: “Elland Road is doing a fantastic job housing the vaccination centre and hopefully this will help us to beat Covid-19 and pave the way for large-scale events to resume next year.
“It’s very disappointing for everyone involved, and especially for Leeds Community Foundation and St George’s Crypt, that we’re having to postpone the event for a second year. However, all table bookings will now roll-over to next year and both the charities and the organising committee are extremely grateful for the generous support that we continue to receive from the region’s property and construction industries.”
Anyone with further queries can email reservations@cryptfactor.org or follow the event on twitter @cryptfactor.
More than 900 members of the North of England’s property industry will return to The Centenary Pavilion at Elland Road on Thursday 30 June 2022, to enjoy the first Crypt Factor for three years, in what the organisers have promised will be the best show in its history.
